Keri Klein, Owner, Certified Master Celebrant, & Lover of love stories

To the outside world, I’m an English teacher and mom to two, but I am also a Certified Master Humanist Celebrant through the Celebrant Academy and a major sap who is unapologetically in love with other people’s love — something my husband reminds me often. I’m always inspired by the beauty of love, and I strive to capture that in my writings. I have a passion for the written word and for crafting beautiful ceremonies that will be remembered for years to come.

I became ordained in order to marry two friends whose relationship was so beautiful that I wanted to be a part of it and share in their magical moment. I believe that when you are lucky enough to find that person who makes you laugh, who celebrates the milestones, the ordinary, and who makes you smile even when you don't want to then you have found the one. It took me a long time to find my happily ever after, but I know there is nobody I would rather have as my partner in this crazy adventure called life.

I am dedicated to helping you celebrate the important moments in your life with warmth and meaning. Whether it’s a wedding ceremony, a naming ceremony, a celebration of life, or any other significant life event, I’m here to help you express your milestones in a unique and heartfelt way.

Katie Miller, Officiant, writer & Love enthusiast

My name is Katie, and I am hopeless romantic and writer who believes that love is the greatest gift of all. As a wedding officiant, it is so special to see the deep love and commitment between two people celebrated outwardly and shared with the most important people in their lives.

I believe that a wedding should be a beautiful and meaningful celebration of a couple's love, which is why I strive to make each ceremony as special and unique as the couple themselves. I enjoy taking the time to get to know each couple and work with them to create a ceremony that reflects their individual personalities and values.

When I am not helping couples celebrate their love story, I am a school counselor who enjoys reading, iced coffee, and spending time with friends and family.

Rachel Pasternak, Officiant, creative triple threat & Professional heart-melter

With nearly 14 years of experience officiating weddings, I'm passionate about helping couples create the perfect day by crafting personalized and meaningful ceremonies that truly reflect their unique love story. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, I work closely with each couple to ensure that every detail resonates deeply with them and their guests.

Before becoming a wedding officiant, I worked as a wedding coordinator at Westminster and owned my own event planning business, collaborating with numerous venues in Rochester and the surrounding areas. This extensive background in event planning has equipped me with the expertise and attention to detail needed to ensure a seamless, unforgettable experience on your big day.

When I'm not officiating weddings, I serve as a Recruiting Manager for the largest CPA firm in Upstate New York. In my free time, I love enjoying live music performances, going for long walks outdoors, and cheering for my favorite local teams – the Amerks, Red Wings, Sabres, Yankees, and Bills. I'm also a singer and have had the pleasure of performing with several local theatre groups.

  • Katie Miller was our officiant and we couldn’t be happier with how our ceremony turned out. We wanted something quick yet meaningful and when we met Katie, we knew she would deliver! We were not disappointed. Also, it is one of my biggest pet peeves when the officiant is in the background of the first kiss photos, and she made sure to book it so I got my dream picture moment

  • When deciding who we would have officiate our wedding, I was skeptical about going with someone that we didn't know. I couldn't imagine how the wedding and service could possibly feel personal going that route, but I was proven wrong by Keri Klein with Flower City Nuptials. When meeting her for the first time at our rehearsal, I felt as though we'd known her for years despite only speaking on the phone once and doing all other communications through email. I felt calmer just having her there to help guide the ceremony which guests complimented on throughout the night.

  • Katie is AMAZING! She was flexible and willing to customize our ceremony to suit our needs. Often ceremony text is overly flowery/Disney like. We're real people and wanted our ceremony to reflect that. Katie customized our ceremony so it fit us perfectly, and she was SO EASY to work with.

  • The entire experience with Flower City Nuptials was amazing from the start! From the quick response, to the detailed interview meeting to putting together our ceremony, everything went so smoothly! We worked with Katie and she did such a great job making our entire ceremony exactly what we envisioned. She took the time to interview us to get to know us better and really get a good understanding of who we were as a couple. In the short time that we worked with Katie, she spent a lot of time working to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we had hoped for and I am so glad we had the opportunity to work with her.
