A Heartfelt Highline Wedding: Victoria & Ian’s Intimate Love Story

April 19, 2025 – The Highline

A Proposal as Thoughtful as Their Love

Two years later—on the anniversary of their very first date—Ian knew it was time to ask the question. But he also knew something even more important: Victoria didn’t want a big, public proposal. No crowds, no spotlight, no audience. She wanted something meaningful, something personal, something woven into the everyday moments that made their relationship special.

So on that Friday, as Tori worked from home, Ian put together a proposal that was simple, sweet, and perfectly them. He arrived with her favorite sushi for lunch, a bouquet of fresh flowers, and a small box that held the next chapter of their life together. There, on the table in the comfort of their home, he asked her to marry him. No spectacle—just heart.

A Ceremony Filled With Meaning at The Highline

Their wedding at The Highline was a beautiful reflection of the intentional, heartfelt connection they share. The venue’s modern, airy aesthetic created the perfect backdrop for a ceremony that honored both of their religious traditions. Victoria and Ian lit tapers and a unity candle, symbolizing the joining of their families and their lives. And at the end of the ceremony, the joyful crack of the glass—rooted in Jewish tradition—marked the official start of their happily ever after.

A Dream Team of Vendors

Victoria and Ian’s day came together seamlessly thanks to an incredibly talented team:

  • Venue: The Highline

  • DJ: DJs Mikey V. and Mickey, from Encore Events, who kept the energy high and the dance floor full

  • Caterer: Avvino, serving an unforgettable menu guests are still talking about

  • Florist: Moonrise Flowers, creating lush, romantic floral designs that brought the space to life

  • Photographer: Rachel Ann Photography, capturing every tender, joyful moment with artistry and clarity

Every vendor played a role in shaping a day that felt authentic, elegant, and infused with love.

A Day to Remember

From their modern-day meet-cute to their intimate proposal and the beautifully blended traditions woven into their ceremony, Victoria and Ian’s wedding was a celebration of everything that makes their story uniquely theirs. The Highline provided the perfect canvas, and their exceptional vendor team helped bring their vision to life in the most stunning way.

If you’re dreaming of a ceremony that reflects your story with intention and heart, I’d love to help craft a moment just as meaningful.
